Michele Allyn

Michele Allyn is a seasoned real estate veteran possessing over four Decades of entrepreneurial experience culled from the Real Estate, sales training and lending sides of the industry.

Michele is the owner and manager of Allyn & Associates Real Estate and Lending, a real estate brokerage and mortgage company, serving Santa Barbara, California’s Central Coast, Ventura and Greater Los Angeles County.

Michele began her career in real estate in 1973 as a Santa Barbara based agent before serving as Broker Associate/Vice President and Training Director at Steve Schmidt & Co/Coldwell Banker Premier Properties in 1983, a position she held until 1998. Michele also owned and Operated Allyn & Associates Real Estate Education and Training for over 20 years Helping to train and license many of the most successful agents in Santa Barbara.

As a Broker, Michele also worked as a Sr. Loan Officer at Prime Financial before moving to First Bank & Trust as a Wholesale Lending Account Executive, where she remained until 2006.

Michele has been a member of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors since 1973 and has served on the Board of Directors several times in the past and will be serving again as a Director in 2020 through 2021. She served on the Professional Standards Committee for over 20 year and has Chaired or served on nearly all the SBAOR committees. In 2016 Michele was awarded the designation of Honorary Member for Life. In 2015 she was awarded the designation of REALTOR Emeritus by the National Association of REALTORs for 40 years of service.

Michele is an active member of the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Santa Barbara Library, the Board of Directors of RITA and as a member of the Women’s Fund . Michele has assisted in facilitating “On Course” and “Step Into The Future”, self-esteem workshops for adults and teens. She has also served as a member of the public Arbitrator for the Santa Barbara County Bar Association.

Michele and her husband currently reside in Santa Barbara. They enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren. Michele also enjoys playing bridge, Mahjong, lawn bowling and gardening.
